This is the best way possible to realize you are not in Kansas anymore.
While I was looking through the books, I had felt like I entered a parallel universe, there were no tween twilight books about vampires, HELL THERE WAS NO VAMPIRE SECTION AT ALL! That was different. A lot of the books I was seeing were books from the 90’s that you had to buy off ebay now because they just weren’t around anymore.
That’s when I noticed Harry Potter on the best seller table. I went over and picked it up, ‘Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone,’ the book had said and I immediately noticed it had the original book cover. I lifted my head, going to examine the sign that originally caught my attention. When I looked at the sign it read ‘Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, Coming Soon. July 2nd, 1998.’
I think my heart completely stopped at that moment.
